Wheatley Library is currently CLOSED but while the doors have been shut there has been a major renovation of the library…

The Library will be open soon and will be following all government guidelines to help protect staff and visitors to the library.  There will be reduced opening hours, a one-way system, time-limited visits (30 mins) and a limit to the number of people in the building at any one time.

In a time before COVID-19, here’s glimpse of what we used to get up to in the Library:

Opening Times

FoWL Craft Group:

The MORNING Craft Group meets every Monday in the library, 10am to 12pm.

The EVENING Craft Group now meets every Wednesday evening in the library, 7pm – 9pm.

All crafts and everyone welcome.

No Craft Group meetings on bank holidays.

Knit and Natter:

The Knit & Natter group meet on Monday afternoons, 2-4pm, term time only.

For more information please ask inside the library.

Clarinet Fun:

First Thursday of the month, 7.30-9pm.

All abilities welcome for some fun playing (there may be wine…).

Book Sale:

On the last Saturday of the month we hold a sale of ex-stock books, from 9.30am to midday.
